Little life story here, I’ve been addicted to pornography since the age of 5. It’s hard to quit as it feels like an addiction with no real side affects and hits the dopamine receptors for me the same each time. Any advice for people who’ve quit?

go cold turkey, cut off all things that give you the urge.

for a while delete all social media apps and stop using the internet in general other than essential things. this helped me for my first week or two and things got easier after that.

once you cut off all of these places that you might see a woman and get a urge you start to realize that you have been programmed.

obviously if you're a porn addict you will likely get the urge if you're walking outside and see a beautiful lady but i dont think you're weird enough to jerk off in public. if you are get some professional help

also find a hobby that you genuinely enjoy. this might take a while but trust me if you find something that you are sincerely passionate about you could study or partake in that hobby instead of jerking off.
