Its not something acid-ly right? My derm told me no azelaic acid and other acids cuz it will leave dark spots

Fractional CO2 laser is the best laser for scars at the moment. It mogs pico and any other non-ablative.

You’ll need multiple of these laser sessions overtime to see results.

Beyond laser you can use Tretinoin, should help smooth your skin over a few months. If you get your Accutane from a dermatologist then feel free to request it, but only after completing Accutane and laser.

Note you can’t use Tretinoin while also doing laser treatments. If I were you, and I wanted to maximize scar treatment, I’d do the fractional CO2 laser treatments (which will take a few months to complete), and about 1/2 months after lasers begin using Tretinoin.

So order goes: Accutane > wait a few months > Fractional CO2 laser (takes a few months of treatment) > wait 1/2 months after the last laser treatment > start Tretinoin usage every night

Scars go byebye with this combination. B ur do note scars will likely fade over the years after Accutane even if you don’t do any treatments. It just depends how much effort you’re willing to put into getting rid of them, and whether you’re willing to wait long or get them gone ASAP.
