Does anyone else struggle to respond to that question? I just come home do my homework then play or watch something nothing unusual what am I supposed to say without sounding like a retard

just use a default phrase like "nothing much just the usual, gym and studying and all that, how have you been doing?"

even if you have nothing interesting to say as long as you sound NT enough and show interest in them you won the social interaction
