How to shave without getting pimples?

Everytime I shave, i get pimples. I stopped shaving from then on. Some1 had the same problem and found a solution??

soften ur hairs with warm water, use a sharp blade, apply a thick shaving gel, shave with the grain, was ur face after and use non-comedogenic moisturizer. i personally take low dose accutane long term so i don't have to worry about any of this

tried the basic thinks like warm water aftershave and shit nothing helped even bought a new blade thought org could help but i just hear the same shit i hear everywhere else

make sure your skin is clean before and after (i like to wash, usually i shave in or immediately post shower) then the most important part is identifying which way the hair grows on each section of your face and neck (it can be different in different part) and then shave with the direction of hair growth, so if it grows to the left shave in a right to left motion if it grows down shave in an up to down motion etc. used this method since highschool haven't gotten any pimples since
