How can I sound NT and actually talk with people n stuff like that

1) Sit next to an academic. (Literally anyone who takes notes)

2) Actually pay attention to the class (Difficult if you have ASD or ADHD get help for that first)

3) Talk about something you found interesting content wise. This could be something the lecturer missed out on explaining or lacked reasonable explanation for which can open up a conversation if the person sitting next to you agrees.

4) Keep doing this with the same 1-4 ish students and eventually wait until they talk to you about other things. If not they are not interested in you move on.
