1. Drink black coffee every morning
2. Look at every nutrition label for everything you eat.
3. AVOID added sugar (This directly controls your cravings)
4. AVOID processed food (Look at the ingredients list. Avoid long lists of chemicals)
5. Struggle for the first 72 hours. Cravings will taper down as you continue.

Even with this you'll still be a lot hungry and eat lots of food , in my experience you still need dopamine sources to forget the hunger

Also reframe of mentality:

Your emotional monke brain just wants dopamine because it thinks dopamine = survival. Eating junk food boosts dopamine response.

Your ego (or your decision making part of your brain AKA TypicalMoose12) has to make a conscious choice whether to listen to monke brain or not.

Your observer (The real you in the background) Analyzes how your monke brain is telling you to eat junk but your ego is struggling making a decision. The real you knows your true goal is to lose weight, so you already know which decision to make when you have cravings.

Be more mindful of this mental dynamic so it's easier to intentionally make better choices.

This is wrong. Your body will adapt to acquire dopamine from less impactful activities over time first of all.

Secondly, the true you AKA the observer in your brain knows what the correct choice is between eating junk food and eating healthy. When your ego makes the decision to eat healthy, the true you notices that the ego decided to make the right choice that aligns with your goals, and will result in a dopamine boost (Reward for making right decisions).

This will enable the cycle of a positive feedback loop.

Sorry, I forgot to put in my post exactly why you're wrong.

Hunger is literally exaggerated by added sugars and processed ingredients. You will realize how easy it is to ignore hunger when it's not being controlled by junk food.

I dont eat any sugar/carbs or junk food for years and i still have to eat tons of food to not be hungry like an aushwitz survivor, i cant stay below mantainance but when i abuse caffeine and ritalin i can lose weight easily. If i added nicotine i would prob have no issues instead of metylphenidate
