Day dreaming is the worst thing you can do to yourself, you are giving yourself dopamine rushes and senses of accomplishment that you don’t deserve, I do this all the time because my life is pretty horrible and day dreaming is a cope that I do subconsciously, and I just realized it’s probably the reason I have no motivation or drive, I want to do so many things but I won’t just get off my ass and do them, I think a lot of that has to do with me fucking up my brain by doing mental masturbation all day long.

I think I need to come to terms with the fact that I am a despicable subhuman and stop trying to convince myself otherwise with these intruding thoughts. My brain probably self consciously thinks I don’t need to improve as I’m already better than everyone else (even though I’m bottom 0.0001% of men), this is the problem with being a narcy piece of shit, I genuinely think I believe I don’t need to improve even tho I know I do if that makes any sense. My brain already feels accomplished and it shouldn’t, I guess I just give it everything it wants.

HOW THE FUCK DO I STOP?

Set realistic tiny goals then move the goalposts gradually.

For example don't set a goal of becoming buff and ripped at 12% body fat. Set a goal of losing 1 inch off your waist this month or doing 42.5lb dumbbell curl sets instead of 40lbs.

Setting huge unattainable goals for yourself while starting at absolute zero is a guaranteed way of either becoming depressed or landing in prison because you took stupid shortcuts.

Yeah I came to that realization last week and I’m slowly starting to do shit, literally starting at square one tbh, I cleaned my room and have been showering everyday, once that becomes routine I’m gonna start exercising again.

You’re right about taking stupid shortcuts, that’s pretty much all I want to do, I’ve had jobs but I honestly don’t want another, going into work everyday as a subhuman trucel is BRUTAL. Idk what I’m gonna do tbh, I’m gonna try not to do anything too stupid.

same, i daydream way too much.

Two days ago I was day dreaming for 7 hours. I had small breaks where I was drinking some water, took a piss, just small breaks. But I've been dreaming while awake for pretty much 7 hours. Just walking up and down, a couple of steps then turn, repeat. Sometimes I was sitting down for one hour, then back to walking. The whole 7 hours felt like a couple of minutes.

A few of weeks ago, I did it for 4 hours and that was a record and I could absolutely not believe how I lost control like that. Now 7 hours, things are going down hill fast. I haven't really showered or gone outside in 2 weeks.
