the best way i've found is just distracting yourself with other activities/hobbies and whenever you have the urge to goon, do pushups or go for a run to discipline yourself

Try to avoid watching goon bait shit on social media, once you stop it gets easier. What helped me was also watching romance anime, it gives you a new outlook on love and lust. But what do I know, I also struggle with "gooning"
