The option to restrict your daily time on here by yourself.

For example I would choose that everyday from 6-8pm I can be active with my account and during the rest of the day it’s as if I am banned.
I've noticed a lot of people formed an addiction to this forum, and likely have the same addiction to youtube, tik tok, insta, 4chan, leddit, etc. So I'm going to show you a method, that only works on PC and if you're using chrome, that restricts your time on certain websites. You can set restrictions such as only being able to browse for x minutes, or only within a certain time frame. This can probably be done on your phone and other web browsers too, but you need to find the right plugin/application for that.

1) Download leechblock.

It's a free website blocking app with no BS menus or extra frills. I've used a lot of these type of apps, but leechblock is the most effective by far since it's so simple to use yet has so many options.

2) Set your restrictions

You will see at the top these things called block sets. All the websites in 1 block set will have the same restrictions. So to have different restrictions for different sites (for example you want to block pornhub forever but want to be able to browse looksmax for 1 hour) have 1 of the websites in 1 block set which allows you to browse for x minutes, and another website in another block site which blocks the website completely.

3) Just browse as you normally do

This is the best part, you don't have to exert any willpower to stop using these sites. The second your time limit is up, leechblock will boot you off the site once you reload the page. Shown above are what happens when you type in a website URL after it's been blocked: when you've blocked it permanently and when you've run out of time respectively.

Feel free to reply with any questions. I will start to restrict my time on here to 30 minutes a day max starting today :Comfy:

You can do this simply by accesing your router admin page and you can block any website. don't need to download dodgy scripts

There are apps that do this as well, it's a little worse since you can just delete the app to bypass it though.

smartest black in the world

make a guide on how to do it without the chrome extension
Router admin pages differ. So the steps can be slightly different. If you are one of those who will unblock the website before the time limit, when you get bored, you can change your router password to a long 20+ chracter one (something that cannot be memorized) then you can write a little python script or something to only reveal the password after X amount of time has passed. There are probably apps already on the web that do this very thing.
