How do you guys study and level up, even when you really don’t want to do it. I have no clue what to do in college and it's so fucking depressing.

You gain education and access to higher-earning jobs and thus a higher standard of living
People who say "school doesn't matter" are deluded, most actual successful entrepreneurs still networked heavily and learned about their industry in college. Your little dropshipping business or whatever isn't going to free you from "the matrix" and your day trading is just lining the pockets of a hedge fund manager somewhere. Not to mention that most people (especially those incapable of studying) don't have what it takes to run the show and will have to settle for being an employee. Might as well be one at Apple rather than McDonalds.

Tbh the biggest think I've found is that the more you can externalize the contents of your mind, the easier everything is. Get used to making schedules and make them as detailed as you can. Write down as many thoughts as you can. Make things more concrete, don't let them just float around in dreamworld: very important because this gives you control.

The trick is realizing you will never want to do it, you're really forced into adopting a certain mentality that gets you through it. My thought process that continues to help me is "all I have to do is show up on time, and do that every day" I treat the obligations that come from being there as autopilot tasks, that way, the hardest part is pretty much just getting there. Doing the work just naturally follows while you're in that environment. You'd be surprised how much you can do if you just commit yourself to simply showing up to things.

This is incredibly important
Reduce friction as much as possible
Ritualise what you can, try to externalise motivation (deadlines, other people holding you accountable, rewards/consequences) rather than relying on intrinsic motivation

Like others have said especially before it becomes a habit it’s not about wanting to do it, it’s about doing it anyway. You rock up to work 40 hours because you have to, because the consequence is getting scolded. But you don’t work on things that will benefit your life, why? The consequence is even worse for not bettering yourself through study etc, because you will be trapped as a wage cuck and that’s the ultimate terrible fate.

You also have to realise 95% of daily thought is unconscious so as soon as you start telling yourself ‘studying is hard’ ‘I don’t want to study’ etc etc. You won’t do it.
You have to tell yourself you want to study everyday and that you’re good at it and that it’s fun and easy and you will do it. It’s about manipulating the mind into doing it. Brain Manip.
