How to take pics/vids

Need help taking pics and ESPECIALLY videos, I have an Android and while I do like it my camera is mid, need help lens distortion on the phone in insane and there is no filters if you take a video so I can't try and correct my lens distorted undeveloped bone structure.

Any tricks yall use or whatever
