He didn't grow up in a time when BP was mainstream so he had to figure it out the hard way, and although I'm not as old as he is the same is true for me to a degree since I didn't know what blackpill was till 19, but I was becoming far more aware of life and society long before then.

I can understand why he wanted to think this was her flirting with him because if you're a lonely incel you're so starved of female attention your mind naturally grasps at straws and thinks things are more significant than they are just like how a starving person would wanna eat the scraps you throw out.

Yeah this is relatable. I was redpilled and thought I needed to muh self improve and up my game to get women .I was catching onto most of this being bs and becoming aware long before knowing blackpill, but it was cathartic when I first discovered it. Felt good to not get blamed for my problems and actually hear some truth for a change. Like you said, I also was aware looks mattered and all that, but wasn't fully aware the level to which this is true either until later in life.
