How to tell if you are regrowing your hair

I did detected this while using dutasteride (fina didn't cause regrow and I am a bad responder of minoxidil), whenever I experienced regrow it has always been accompanied by an itch in my balding areas, is this a coincidence or can anyone here confirm it (currently 5 months using dutasteride)

itch is usually a bad thing, I had itch in my crown and temples but that is because of losing hair from dht.
You can tell if u have more hair that about it, more tiny sprouts

Maybe the itch happens while growing new hairs and losing ones? I have 100% grow new hair on duta on only 5 months than fina in 2 years

I noticed that I didn't have to style my hair a certain way to hide thinning anymore after about 4 months on fin, didn't get massive regrowth, just enough to look normal. Never had the DHT itch on fin.
