i can tell you how i got treated when i was unattractive (greasy hair, bad clothes, ugly glasses, bad skin, 54kg) until i got "good looking" (at least i get told so and got a GL gf)
ugly: people told me straight into my face that im ugly, that i got acne, that im very skinny, that im short (i was a few cm shorter as a kid), that i should wash my hair etc.
"GL": i get told by different people that im good looking, mainly mates or people i dont know that much, i get approached by girls asking for snapchat or number or regular small talk, getting iois by girls (looking at me from a distance, when i pass them they look again 2-3 times), people stopped calling me ugly lol, got a gf from cold approaching, people, especially cashiers or bartenders etc are much more friendly to me, people stare a lot in general guys and girls.
im not super good looking and im still pretty insecure sometimes, i legit just took pics of me for 10 mins and morphed my nose smaller thinking about rhino etc. if people didnt tell me im GL i wouldnt think im gl i guess
