hey guys it yo boy nathan and I was recently browsing IndiaMART for some interesting stuff, and I searched for nicotine. I noticed that they actually sell nicotine powder in bulk.
The price I found was around $150 per kilogram, with roughly $50 for delivery, making the total cost about $200 for 1 kg.
The average nicotine pouch contains around 10 mg of nicotine, although users have different tolerances. Some might use 6 mg, while others use 20 mg or more.
Let's say the average pouch contains 10 mg.
1 kg = 1,000,000 mg
1,000,000 mg ÷ 10 mg = 100,000 pouches
So, 1 kg of nicotine would theoretically contain enough nicotine for 100,000 pouches.
If we assume the additional ingredients and packaging bring the total cost of the raw materials up to around $350, then:
100,000 pouches ÷ 20 pouches per tub = 5,000 tubs
$350 ÷ 5,000 tubs = $0.07 per tub
So the raw ingredients would theoretically cost around 7 cents per tub, before taking into account manufacturing, packaging, labour, and other business expenses.
If each tub were sold for around $3, then:
5,000 tubs × $3 = $15,000 in revenue
However, that's revenue rather than profit. The actual profit would depend on all the additional costs involved in producing and selling the product.
i estimate that the profit would be about 12k . i will calculate the practical side in another thread so lmk if u intrested.
i will find some people that can sell for me and they will sell to teens from schools around my area.
