DISCLAIMER: More than 90% of this guide credits and effort go to @zer0688 for making the original thread. This is just an updated version I’ve done myself to minimize even further side effects and potential PAP (periorbital fat loss)

Best Method to Eyelashmaxx

Regardless of the mechanism you choose to grow your eyelashes (castor oil, oral minox, eyelash serum, etc.) bimatoprost (latisse) is by far the best proven method

The only issue w/ bimatoprost is its side effects such as periorbital fat loss (PAP) and darkening of the skin around the eyes (tired look). That’s why it’s so fearmongered in .org :feelstrash:

So let me share with you, how you can use it with minimal to no side effects at all, and still get those Ian Sommerhalder tier lashes!

Ian Somerhalder eyes

2 Rules of Thumb

  • Never apply on the lower eyelid/eyelashes: This area is rlly thin, and the product will naturally move downward, which can shrink the fat there if you use it regurlarly, even if you try putting Aquaphor or Vaseline over it.

  • Apply on dry skin: Applying the product on dry skin (2-3 hrs after showering) makes it harder for molecules to penetrate on sensitive PAP prone areas.

Step-by-Step Procedure

  1. Apply a Protective Barrier

Use a barrier to stop the eyelid skin from absorbing any of the solution. The best choice is the ScarAway Silicone Gel (silicone > petrolatum for sealing). Don’t cover the lash line. Just apply it on the upper lid above the lashes and under the lower lid. I also put it around my eyes and under my brows to avoid any PAP prone areas.

  2. Prepare the Bimatoprost Solution

This stuff is so strong that you just need to pour a SINGLE DROP in a bottle cap to cover both eyes.

  3. Lash-Shaft Application Method (Alternative)

With a new/sterile microbrush (attached pic below) wipe the product along your lash from the base to the tip, WITHOUT TOUCHING THE SKIN. The liquid is naturally pulled inwards and travels down into the follicle, so a lot of derms recommend this method for PAP prone patients.

Also, stop 1 mm short of the inner corner. This is the area most prone to darkening :bigbrain:

  4. Wipe Extra Residue

Wipe any extra product that touches the skin with a tissue, just tap it gently so it doesn’t spread.

Microbrush - verde

Extra Stuff :feelsez:

I recommend buying Bimatoprost 0.03% from a source other than the cosmetically marketed latisse as it is WAY CHEAPER and will last you WAY LONGER don't be a retarded nigger :smonk:
0-12 weeks: EOD at Night (No need for ED due to bimatoprost's half life, and EOD helps reducing potential PAP)
>12 weeks: 3x per week (for solely maintenence)
Dye your eyelashes black every 4 weeks after the first 12 weeks (let them grow first).

You can take a look at @Volksstaffel guide to get this accurately done (link below).

*quick update

make sure to apply ED within the first 4 weeks, and from week 5-12 you can switch to EOD (to minimize side effects)

doing ED for the first 4 weeks helps maximize early stimulation, then it’s easier to keep the momentum going (even w/ EOD).

I wouldn’t risk doing it on the lower lashes since PAP risk increases significantly.

If you rlly want to grow them out use a lash serum instead and combine with dying them, that should help out a lot as well.

Besides, upper lashes are much more important for contrast as well as to minimize UEE.

If i have droopy eyelids (excess skin or fat on upper eyelid) can this help me dissolve the fat there? like a diy blepharoplasty. also can u pm me or send here your 15€ source for bimatoprast?

I wouldn’t risk doing that, even though you might get PAP, you’ll most likely also get darkness in that area.

I’ll send you a PM with a source as soon as I get home

I recommend buying Bimatoprost 0.03% from a source other than the cosmetically marketed latisse as it is WAY CHEAPER and will last you WAY LONGER don't be a retarded nigger :smonk:
0-12 weeks: EOD at Night (No need for ED due to bimatoprost's half life, and EOD helps reducing potential PAP)
>12 weeks: 3x per week (for solely maintenence)
Dye your eyelashes black every 4 weeks after the first 12 weeks (let them grow first).

You can take a look at @Volksstaffel guide to get this accurately done (link below).

great thread, Will use this.
quick question, i have too much hooding which is also called "negative hooding" and my hooding basically sticks to my upper eyelash 24/7,before i apply the latisse should i just make sure the eyelid is covered in silicone gel and i should be fine? when my eyes are closed my hooding doesnt get touched by the lash so when im sleeping i should be fine. also how long until the latisse has "dried?" so then i can stop worrying about my lash touching the upper eyelid.
