how to use tretinion 0,05 for the first time

Im using it for the first im only doing it on my forehead first because my cheecks arent that stable in terms of skin barrier . and i dont know what mouisturizer i should use and what spf any ideas ? And i dont used any retinols or tret in the past and im already starting at 0,05 and can i aplly foundation on the spots where i used it and when does it peel of and when does it get better ? and what are the risks can my skin get damaged permantyl ? i dont have much pimples only very very small ones and i dont want too look like a tomato .

Personally, I would start with like a 0.025% if you could get on to it. Apply it at night, 10 minutes after you shower. And make sure you sandwich it between a moisturizer, like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer, as it's one of the best. Use sunscreen in the mornings, and yeah. For having your skin damaged permanently, it cannot and should theoretically help any acne scars. and when your barrier is done being fried js apply it on your entire face

if your skin barrier is ass, why would you start with 0.05? get a 0.025, pea-sized amount on the whole face, sandwich method (cleanse -> moistuirzer -> tret -> moisturizer)
