How traveling the world made me move to Israel.

I moved to Israel after hitch hiking through pakistan, jordan egypt and nearly 40 countries whilst travelling whilst spending no money and offering businesses content in exchange for a place to sleep or food, I had to chagne my name from tal to talal so no would know I was jewish. Even the strangers who opened their homes to me, I still had to hide who I was so after all my travels I was brought to Israel. A place so misunderstood yet the place I feel saftest in. People all over the world come for the same reason, not becuase of the food but becuase of the people and the culture. Israel is the only place where you dont need to hide your religion, muslims, jews and christians live together in peace. But the reslience in the people is something you do not see anywhere else. One day there are missiles striking, the next people are living there because this is reality for the people of Israel. Human beings who just want to live their lives but get hated for no reason.

So this is your sign to travel to Israel to see the truth with your own eyes.

Wow, inspirational story. The journey sounded rough indeed.

But to be in the mecca of it all, nothing would’ve been overkill. Israel is your home, well, the whole world is ours fuck the gentiles. But it's peace of mind.

I should know I’m a Somali-Jew, and my passage will be brutal, but I don’t believe in the story of Icarus because Israel is the sun, and I will never burn. And if I am to burn, chasing the sun is the only way to do it. As Icarus still reached limits unheard of.
