What ls a proper reaction? My mother cries, i don’t really know what to do. When u consult someone are u expected to cry as well?

I guess it depends on who died if it’s someone I don’t know that well I’m probably not gonna cry, if it was my mum or dad let’s say, I probably would.

A friend parent, tho I haven’t seen them in years. The way of death is rather tragic which makes it more difficult on how to react

It's ok not to cry. Everybody handles grief their own way. Not crying isn't looked at as weird or anything.

It’s a close friend parent, but haven’t been in contact for a while. I just don’t know how to approach the situation when I see them at the funeral
