How was recovery from Bimax for those who have gotten it?

Tomorrow I have an appointment for sleep apnea and we're gonna decide what they want to do to fix it, I want jaw surgery ofc but there are some things I'm afraid of if I'm getting jaw surgery

-losing all my gains

-not recovering in time and going back to school looking like even more of an incel than before

How was recovery for the surgerymaxxers here?

first week is hell on earth. week 2-4 is meh. then ur more or less back to feeling "normal" with some restrictions like lifting weights, bending over, hard foods, etc.

I haven't gotten bimax yet, but I had another emergency major facial surgery. Bimax is probably going to be worse though .
