need to fix the birth rate and education system first. There Is not enough people being born and not enough people doing jobs, especially construction/farming. Advances in Ai could also allow jobs to be replaced and employees re train doing in demand jobs putting less stress on labour market

That won't happen, yes technically if the fertility rate of let's say Germany stays at 1.5 then one day in the far future there would be only a few thousand Germans left, but in such a scenario society would change so much that its probable that it will reverse course at go over 2 again because of a enormous crisis like situation.

Also most importantly here is that every nation on Earth is losing their fertility rate, even African nations are (some Sub Saharan African capitals are already close to 2.1 tfr), and this is genuinely a grim situation because if every nation goes bellow 2.1 then in a very long time there will be only a few humans left on earth
