How would a boxer fight a Muay Thai guy?

How would a boxer fight a Muay Thai guy? a Boxer will not know how to defend against knees, kicks elbows. Kicks are very hard to deal with without training because range and power. Plus kickboxers have some experience defending punches Where's pure boxers have none defending kicks.

It won't go well, pure boxing is a complete mogger art no denying the fact but kickboxing often outclasses it due to foreign element of kicks.

Muay Thai is kickboxing but much more harder and brutal.

It won't go well unless the boxer is either too big or is trained in Jiu-Jitsu aswell.
