In Season 1 of The Office Pam, the receptionist, was engaged to Roy, a warehouse worker. Jim worked as a Salesman, and had frequent contact with Pam, and developed feelings for her. Later in the series Pam broke up with Roy and got together with Jim. What if it had been Darryl, the Kangz warehouse supervisor, that Pam had been in a relationship with? Do you think the writers would have allowed Jim to steal Pam from Darryl? Do you think Darryl would have preemptively capped Jim when he caught wind of their close relationship?
