It's not horizontally recessed rather it seems like it needs to shift lower on the face

A recessed maxilla makes a plus than 90 degrees from nose to upper lip. He doesnt have recessed maxilla. He just has 0 fat os his face and he must have been a fighter or whatever

By “shift lower on his face” I think you mean his jaw needs to have more height/sit lower in relation to his lips. He needs a taller ramus for this.
