Let go and recognize there are plenty of opportunities about you. I’ve approached when I received compliments and knew the person had an interest, but shedding that worry that you will lose something important if it doesn’t go your way is an ideal mindset. Just be a cool version of yourself but still yourself.

There is nothing to stress about other than maybe a blow to the ego. Nothing is lost before or after. If you’re consciously attempting to scheme or charm you’ll have a difficult time rather than merely just engaging in the act of conversational play. It’s all just a game and you should enjoy it, the awkwardness and all that constitutes the exchange.
