When i was younger i used to get so insecure about my asymmetries on back camera but it turns out your mirror self is your most accurate reflection of how you look. This is not cope. Lens distortion, 2d image, capturing a single frame. Theres so many reasons cameras arent as accurate as mirrors. Mirrors provide the most accurate 3d reflection of your face, so its no wonder you look best in it.

Some people call it cope because your mirror is flipped and people see your face in the reverse. However that is such a retarded take because the same way you naturally dont notice your flaws in your flipped mirror image, other people get used to your back camera flipped version that you are not used to. Using a inverted camera is the same as if someone looked at you in the mirror and suddenly you look weird because its the flipped version of you they dont recognise.

Never had an issue with that other than one time I was on acid and I looked in the mirror (I was 17) and all the acne i had back then looked insane and started morphing I wanted to kill myself

Yes but its still not accurate because its not the image you are used to. Although its technically what other people see themselves, it looks normal to them but not to you. Your own biases will make it look weird
