Yes you heard it right, i've been researching this for a couple of days and came to the realization that buying some of these peptides that are EASILY made (so not hgh, tren, test, etc) is totally useless and you should just make your own. So the question begins, how am I going to source & make this compound?:

First, the raw materials these are the ones provided:

$161 for 5g free base GHK (no copper / glcyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine)
$120 for 500mg Copper(II) chloride dihydrate, 98%
$9 ph strips

Distilled water + bacteriostatic water
Cheap Scale
Some Beakers
Either a home freeze-dryer or pay some lab $50 / run

You may be thinking "hey dude this is super expensive I thought this was a budget alternative" -> and to that your correct you can buy much lesser amounts, but the cost : amount ratio is gonna be much higher. If your intending this for personal use 1g of pure 99% GHK-Cu is not that outrageous that's only like 500 days if you pin every day & use 2mg. Also note that these took literally 1 minute to source I assure you if you find some Chinese or Indian connect the raw cost of these materials is gonna be much cheaper.

Okay so lets start, how do we cook?

Here's a 30 minute recipe (at most) on how to make it:

1. Weigh exactly 1.00 g GHK freebase (glcyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine) and add to a beaker
2. Add 70mL distilled water (note this should dissolve in ~10 seconds and be crystal clear)
3. Weigh the entire 500mg copper chloride (honestly just dump he entire bottle)
4. Pour copper and this observe as it hits the solution there should be a relative timeline to this:
0 sec = clear
3 sec = sky blue
10 sec = turquoise
25 sec = perfect deep royal blue

5. Stir 2 more minutes, top up to exactly 80mL total volume
6. Measure the PH should be around 5-7
6. Pour into two shallow freezer trays -> freeze solid overnight
7. Lyophilize it (either buy one or send it to some lab)

So boys, what's our yield? This yields for about 1.20 g and of 98.9-99.5% purity GHK-Cu (market price is around $1000-$1200 as most vendors sell a 50mg vial for $50 **not grey market obviously**)

Good thread, the problem is people will have to find new and safe sources for the raw materials and a lot of them are not willing to go through that.
