My entire science class had just finished our exams, and my school has a policy of where if you have an important exam you can just show up for the exam and leave school after and it’d count as an excused absence.
Everyone finished at the same time and some people wanted to stay in school and some wanted to leave. I definitely wanted to leave school but I didn’t want to just go home and do nothing, alone like I usually do. I wanted to leave but I wanted to go out and do something with someone but my friend decided to stay at school. I mentioned to this girl I was going golfing and since she liked golf too she got the same idea.
I asked if she wanted to go with me and she said “sure.” Then she went to see if any of her friends wanted to go. Both of the girls she asked decided to stay back at school and as she was trying to get them to go she told me to head to the course and that she’d meet up with me right after.
The girls didn’t want to go with her so as I was driving I got a text from her saying something along the lines of “I’m tired so I think I’m just going to head home.” I wonder how stupid she must think I am for her to actually think that I’d believe that excuse. She was literally over the moon at the idea of going golfing but when she found out that she’d just be with me the whole idea turned into a nightmare.
I’m not stupid, just be honest with me. I know I’m not attractive, I understand that because of that fact you have a million other things you’d rather do, but then at least just tell me that. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened to me and it won’t be the last.
This is so disheartening.
