Huge growth spurth

For most of my life up until I was 16, I stayed around 5’11 and never thought much about my height. Then, out of nowhere, I grew up to 6’5 over a single summer and now currently standing at 6’6 1/2. It felt sudden and none of my friends or family expected it either. Has anyone else gone through such an extreme late growth spurt? How is something like this even possible?

My dad is like only 6ft and my mom is not tall either

I was outside most of the time, skating with my friends, my diet was trash and sleep probably too

I regret that I dont fully remember this period of my life because I can't explain why it happened.

Yes, I did fall a lot and summer before that I broke my wrist with a dislocation but i dont know if that makes any sense
