so unfortunately I'm more of a DSBM listener, which is a completely different genre than classic BM, but i still know some outstanding BM bands that you could check out.. If you're looking for DSBM aswell, then i already made a thread about it. I could send it to you to save you some time searching for it, just LMK

Venom - basically the godfathers of black metal


Darkthrone - just a classic, leans more into DSBM but i still classify it as otherwise.


Burzum - one man band (similar to the DSBM band decalius), really goated


Mayhem - very poser-y but still worth a mention, it gets a lot of hate nowadays because only new metal listeners listen to it, but it's still one of the black metal pioneer bands.


Bathory - one of my favorites, also a very old band


Immortal - one of the most influential and best black metal bands ever.


Leviathan - another well known BM band, very good


Emperor - nothing to say here, i don't listen to them much.

Chris's work is probably the best I've seen in any video game. Absolutely amazing composer.

Have fun! They're really great tracks, but make sure to listen to them as a whole, because listening to it partially won't have the entire experience.

If you enjoy roguelites, make sure to give the game a try, it's one of my favorites.
