For those that don't known Indus Waters Treaty was signed in 1960,n agreement which allocated control over the waters of the eastern rivers (Beas, Ravi, and Sutlej) to India and the western rivers (Indus, Chenab, and Jhelum) to Pakistan but all these rivers emerge from India and flow into Pakistan so India cutting off the supply means Pakistan's entire punjab region known for its fertile land will become useless.
