Genuinely curious why the mainstream media tries to demonize looksmaxxing. Sure, there are some theories that we know to be cope. Why are they relying on cope theories to demonize the entire movement? They also tend to target steroid usage, however with the right precautions, for example, bloodwork, dutasteride, AI, PCT, we can mitigate negative side effects significantly. (water)
Overall, looksmaxxing is a good philosophy. The only problem, as with everything else, is when it's taken to the extreme. For example, being genuinely depressed over your looks due to a genetic limit after softmaxxing/hardmaxxing. I see retarded kids posting on here about how they want to kill their parents because they confiscated, refused to buy them HGH, or didn't agree to HGH treatment at a doctor's office. This extreme of a thought process is obviously not going to apply to everyone. However, when looksmaxxing is taken to the extreme, I think the risks are genuine depression / self hatred over your looks, combining drugs or taking too much of a substance, for example, Ketamine, Adderall, Pregab, which can lead to overdose, etc.
This is why I think it's incredibly important to balance the ascension of looks as well as the ascension of the soul / psyche. Your psyche encompasses who you are, your thoughts, feelings, etc.
As we know better-looking people generally have a higher expectation asked of them, or are perceived as more intelligent, having good personality traits, etc than a less attractive person. (water)
So it is important while ascending your looks, you also ascend your psyche / soul / mind to fit this prerogative.
I will write an in-depth guide on ascending the psyche soon.
