What was it like
It was peak. Malls were busy, things were well made and lasted long, women weren’t feminists, movies had hot babes in them, video games were violent and cool. Good music was popular. Even drinks looked cooler.

It makes sense why the 90s to mid 2000s are loved both by people who are old enough to remember it and those who aren’t (even the ones who weren’t born yet). Technology was advanced enough to get a lot of convenience and dopamine out of it but it wasn’t so advanced to the point of destroying society. Basically the best of both worlds

It actually hurts to think about how comfy life was then. 2001-2006ish were the absolute peak of my life and nothing can ever compare. Comfy suburb life, no responsibilities, the world felt sane and hopeful. Great group of friends that I saw almost daily, cool video games, pickup sports, safe environment, no social media. Girls weren't as toxic or huge egos.

Nothing can come close to these years, nothing ever will either
