- Polygamy tends to cause social problems, leaving many angry men without wives and inclined to behave in risky ways.
- Socially, religious and legal constraints play a gigantic role. Polygamy is politically fraught, emotionally disruptive, economically confusing, illegal in some states and yet we are biologically predisposed.
- “Human Nature” became a social construct and is often not biologically founded. Existing competing narratives are much more about interests and illusions than what is actually true.
