It is detrimental to the wellbeing of an organism to understand the science which designates their limitations. Of course, sexual selection is present in species other than humans, but it is subconscious and they do not understand the mechanisms behind it. The work of Charles Darwin directly inspired theories of eugenics which I believe are again coming into mainstream thought through blackpill.

We hear things now from women such as "I can't date him because I don't want short/ugly kids". Before genetics were understood this was likely less of a consideration since the child's form would be a gift from God (although I'm sure they knew there was some correlation between parents and offspring).

Furthermore, humans being aware that their failure is due to genetic inferiority damages their mental health and can drive them to suicide. The knowledge of genetics makes it impossible for them to cope.
