It's always some self-righteous asshole that hates his ideas being questioned and wants to act morally superior over others that claims the importance of humility.

It's a cheap way to feel like you're a good person and you earned something, when in reality you just don't like to be questioned or challenged in any way and want to go on living in your little bubble of self-delusion.

Thing is, if you have a high opinion of yourself people say you're arrogant, even if it's deserved. People always call Floyd Mayweather arrogant for claiming to be the best ever. But he's 50-0, got knocked down like once in his career, rarely gets hit. He makes everyone look like a chump. Yet he's somehow he's delusional or whatever. People say Tyson or Ali are the best, they both lost multiple times. Tyson to the same guy twice.
