And I realised how completely non nt I am. Was constantly thinking if I have to make a joke so that they don’t call me boring, at set intervals.

But who understands people anyways? Man i can't do like them and make up stuff acting as if i'm interested just to speak with them.

It is a form of disrespect towards them and especially towards one's honor and dignity. If we are going to speak about something it should be genuine and productive talk, otherwise we are just wasting time and effort.
