I've been using 1% hydrocortisone cream on my nose tip for 2 months and it has worked. You wont see an insane transformation, but your nose will be visually less bulbous. It also fixed slight nose asymmetry caused by swelling. I might switch to a stronger dosage, and also am going to get accutane soon. (Any other methods?)

use more potent corticosteroids

but be careful with your immune system. Don't get infections.

What risks does hydrocortisone carry? I'm not too informed on it

classic corticosteroid risks

it increases cortisol in applied region, decreasing immune function but also nvking inflammation (acute cortisol spike property)

if you get infected in applied region yea it's over sorry lil bro

hydrocortosine is still good
beclomethasone dipropionate is waaaay more potent but make sure you get topical version (cream preferably)

What OP is doing has high risk to reward ratio. It’s a corticosteroid so it has immunosuppressive actions. Think of the last 5 infections you’ve caught, the chances of them occurring again while on chronic corticosteroid therapy is 4x more.

Your nose is bones and cartilage which cannot be altered unless it’s rhinoplasty. Hydrocortisone will only thin the skin, sometimes so much that white flares pop up, skin turns red and becomes so thin that even facial veins might be visible giving a toxic look appearance.

Last time I used it near the beard area for some other reason, white beard hairs popped up rather than black looking so uneven so I got off it. Steroids are not a joke.

Every day? Aren't you worried about skin cancer or a mutation?

What “mutations” exist from applying a topical steroid to your face? Same with skin cancer

I think you can get cancerous pimples from the sun.
