can i train my hyoid if i have tmj (not 100% sure) and i do have facial assymetry

i know i am i checked on inverted it might just be unequal fat deposition so i’ll probably have to reduce overall bf and get surgery when i’m old enough

Yea it kinda affects your tmj but just make make sure you don't go overboard. Also make sure you massage and relax the areas you train (including your masseters). I got tmj aswell and you might feel a tiny bit of stiffness but then again its completely avoidable if you release tension.

my jaw doesn’t click or anything but someone says the root of my assymetry might be tmj so i’m kinda in a loop of confusion i really don’t know what the root cause is

If you dont have any form of symptom then don't worry. Just know that pain is always the first symptom that usually goes away after a couple weeks... then you get the clicking and partial dislocation.
