Here is a graph of how many random U.S. adults (both men and women) in a room it would take in order for there to be a 50% chance that at least one person in that room is taller than you.
to grasp the importance of each inch past 5'10 here are the events that you would have to go to for there to be around a 50% chance that you would find at least one person taller than you
5'10: basically you and your homie
5'11: small hangout
6'0: big group hangout
6'1: small high school classroom
6'2: large high school classroom
6'3: amount of passengers on a fairly packed boeing 737-600
6'4: large university lecture hall
6'5: large costco on a busy weekend
6'6: mid-size concert venue
6'7: major concert
6'8: large world cup match
disclaimer: some of these places/events have a disproportionate amount of rich people or people of certain geographies, which correlates with height, but don't think about the specific event, instead think about how large that crowd of people is.
My point is that each inch of height matters a lot. Being the tallest man in a room will give you a large halo, even compared to being the 2nd tallest and the larger the room where you're the tallest the more your height will stand out and the more women there will be to notice it. Tallness gets viciously important the more people there are in your vicinity. Some may think that the difference between 6'0 and 6'4 doesn't matter, but being the tallest in a small high school classroom vs a large university lecture hall is massive difference. The hypergamous effect of a tall height scales rapidly with each inch, it doesn't plateau as some people might think. Even if there are studies that support a certain height being optimal, the rarity of a taller height will make it so that woman who love height, which are becoming increasingly common will value a super tall height even more because it is that rare.

Basically, the importance of height scales rapidly as you go into larger and larger spaces. Heightmaxxing is extremely important. Even if you're already tall, lock in and get good sleep, eat a healthy diet and make sure you have sufficient vitamin D, Vitamin K2, and calcium. That's just the bare minimum though. If you want to take a risk there's more extreme methods I'm sure you're all aware of.
