It's natural, women have always wanted more attractive men, and are always drawn to the most attractive man in a group. It's just how it is.
If they could pick someone to mate with from a group they would always choose the healthiest and most attractive male.

Depends on who you ask, there is no set agreement on what we're natural meant to do in our pre historic setting. you haven't justified why you think humans only goal is to reproduce. Nether the less you can still be healthy as possible and still be unattractive.

No women dont naturally wont someone bettter than them, this is simply a modern adaption (note im not referring to genetic adaptions) . Women in the Gather hunter societies simply wanted the men they fell in love with, whilst women in more hierarchal societies fell in ''love'' with men in a superior positions this holds the same with men. An example of this would be lobolo.
