Makeup doesn’t ascend women that much, it’ll at most take them up 1 full rating (ltb to mtb.)
This means that at most, women frauding good looks would only be able to date 1 level higher than them, and the charts wouldn’t look like this:
As you can see, this is way above just 1 standard level above them, so what’s the underlying issue?
This is:
Incels and men in general have a self-destructive habit of overrating any woman that appears to show off a “based, cool, “one of us” personality” (
) this creates waves of hype around certain figures/certain archetypes of women and by the time the delusion has faded and everyone has come back to their senses, it’s already too late.
But this isn’t something that just exists in the standard social media or internet, this is something that has been slowly engraved into culture and shown off in the media for decades. Let’s look at the standard for men in relationships.
Men in relationships have very strict “bare minimum,” standards. You are expected to be extremely kind and chivalrous regardless of how the woman acts, and one thing in particular as well, you are required to show, act, and tell your girlfriend that she’s the prettiest girl in the entire world. This would be fine as there’s nothing wrong in telling your partner how you see them, the issue is that overtime this has gone from framing it as just a sweet way of showing your subjective perspective to objective fact, meaning a lot of women (near everyone,) is expected to be framed as the prettiest girl in the world objectively.
This cycle once began creates a rapid looksflation where every girl is told and begins to assume that they are in fact a 10/10, the gold standard, and if everyone is the prettiest, then nobody is. This causes competition among women to add outliers into their personality, as since everyone is a “10/10,” lookswise, then the one that gets chosen by Chad must be an outlier with a cool personality.
Notice how I said Chad and not just men? Thats because somewhere in between their realization of needing to be an outlier in women and their rapid inflated beliefs on their own looks, women completely drown out the average man. This makes total sense if you think about it psychologically, why would you date someone below your range if you’re “objectively” a 10/10 that gets backed up by a majority of society.
This is what causes a 1/10 to have the “bare minimum,” standard of a 6’0 HTN. What’s worse is that since chads already know their own worth, they usually don’t date the lower ranking women, and the lower rankers have to settle for men in/below their league who are at this point desperate for love and affection and overrate them into the sky in hopes that they won’t leave, further solidifying their own belief that they’re an ultra “high value woman,” which worsens hypergamy.
This all would be totally fine and negated if women held men to the same regard as shown in media and entertainment, but how many times have you seen a woman refer to her partner as the “most handsome man in the world,” instead of just “her handsome man,” it doesn’t happen, because the media doesn’t ever center on that so it’s never expected by the masses as a standard.
TL;DR: Do your part in stopping the rapid rise in looksflation by not rating buzzword spamming LMTBs on TikTok Stacy.
