Like you say, anything that relies on self reported data is almost useless regarding the truth. Even if they do tell the truth, what is "in a relationship"? That could mean something completely different depending who you ask. These "studies" and "surveys" and "analyses" which are supposed to be "scientific", whatever that means, are not helping anyone to get to the truth. It just distorts the clear image a man can get from simple observation and thinking. I think some of the only good data regarding dating and the sexual market is what you can get from dating apps, seeing who messages, who likes who, how many swipes, etc.
