When hypergamy isn’t set in place there’s usually arranged marriages which gives opportunity for bad genes to mate and produce more bad genes.

With hypergamy however it allows for the best genes to procreate giving the best genes for the next population

Issue with this is there isn’t many “good genes” in the world so either we all go extinct, or we continue living in a world with chads as well as incels
