Why is hypergamy real?

Like, really, foids choose wealthier, more handsome, successful, and intelligent men.


1.Women need to give birth, while men can simply limit themselves to the moment of conception.

2.From the very beginning, women depended on men; the stronger their man was, the more food he would bring to the family, the more he would work in the garden, and, if necessary, he would protect the woman. Women will subconsciously choose a potentially strong, influential, and resourceful partner in order to continue the lineage.

3.According to cultural standards, women and men were expected to take on the roles of breadwinner and homemaker. In other words, societal stereotypes dictate that the man is the breadwinner of the family — he must provide for and protect his family, while the woman is supposed to take care of the household: maintain order in the home, cook meals, and do the cleaning.


Currently, research shows that hypergamy is gradually decreasing,
and in more developed countries, homogamy—the tendency to choose a partner of similar status—is coming to the fore.

Hypergamy is more then ever prominant in modern society tho less extreme then the graphs used tho still pretty fucking evil
