Any threads talking about localized hypoxia in knee for growth in adolescence?

Bump bump

How is hypoxia supposed to cause growth?

Blood flow restriction
And how is restricting blood flow supposed to cause growth? Shouldnt it be the other way round? Increased blood flow to increase nutrient delivery.

No idea that’s why I’m asking search hypoxia induced growth

that might be one of the dumbest shits ive ever read on this forum
When you wrap your limbs (arms or legs) tightly with cuffs or bands, blood inflow continues, but venous outflow is restricted.

Muscles accumulate lactic acid, hydrogen ions, and other metabolites.

These metabolites act as chemical signals, triggering local IGF-1 release and systemic GH spikes.
What’s what I could find

Wth bro. Apparently it is a real thing

Its real bro
nigga its not and i am just laughing at you if you think its something to be conveniantly replicated let alone the safety and health of your own limbs:lul:

Safety what ru talking about its used in adolescence and studied in National health institute

think of the effects body seeks survival not growth what i found was growth of veins to suplly sufficient ammounts of oxigien into the area. nothing about bigger bones :feelshaha::feelshaha:

It increase growth factors in the area systematically thus helping growth in teens

Apparently it activates and stabilizes a protein called HIF-1.

growth in teens :lul::lul::lul: thank you nhs for caring about the future height of kids :owo:

logically just think for one second. best i can give you is someone replicating hypoxia in small scale to adapt the body to give better bloodflow and endurance and therefore atheltic performance

Look it up . Apparently it enhances cell proliferation by activating pathways;
TGF-Beta and PI3K/Akt.

The study purpose wasn’t on growth in teens matter fact it’s in athletes and used to see if it helps with muscle growth, they also discovered it increase growth hormone even more than exercise alone

11% increase of igf1 for 15 minutes:feelshaha:

its the 2024 jester patel sprinting all over again

i cant even phatom yall's thinking skills

lets use common sense for a second. do yall imagine yourself sitting at home and cutting off blood supply to increase your growth hormones by 11% at best granted you dont do any exercise at all. it is literally miniscule gains that wont ever translate into real growth. you see "muh hgh and igf1 and testosterone" increase in paper and go crazy

to put into perspective. injecting hgh would keep your igf1 elevated twice or even more depening from person to person for upwards of 17 hours.

guys lets stop the copes PLEASE. just get a job and inject the hgh

i cant imagine even what are you planning? sleeping with your bloodflow cut off to limbs to get 6% extra igf1

Your assumption is that it’s temporary while that’s actually true, but consistent use daily theoretically may help give a slight boost over years,

"Localized hypoxia" Isn't going to induce any meaningful effect. At best, wrapping your legs affects skin perfusion, not intraosseous oxygen. External compression doesn't appreciably reduce arterial oxygen delivery within bone, Don't forget growthplates are surrounded by the cortical, trabecular, periostum, muscle, fasica and so on. Lastly, compression likely isn't doing you a favour, I recommend you look up the Hueter Volkmann law. Hypoxia is just another misinterpreted tiktok cope, While yes the HIF-1a pathway affects bone, that occurs during low intracelluar pO2, not superficial oxygen reduction. Not to mention growthplates are naturally hypoxic :feelskek:

While that’s true using it consistently may not give height but definitely noticeable hyper trophy, don’t see lots of people use it
