I accidentally broke my girlfriend's husband's Switch.

I accidentally sat on it when me and my girlfriend are having fun on the couch while her husband was out shopping for his 100th copy of this game he calls a "hidden gem".

If this can't be fixed, I might need to buy him a new Switch but I'm afraid that the delivery might take too long and that he might ask to be allowed in our bedroom again. My girl is really uncomfortable when he's around and playing Nintendo games is the only thing that keeps him distracted. What should I do?
