I always hate the female characters in 90% of TV-Shows I watch

Because it’s usually unrealistic and hard to get immersed. I can easily imagine a strong, smart, and charismatic man but when they force it for women in movies it’s cringe. You just know that irl these actresses are crying randomly throughout the day for no reason and from breaking up with their Chad boyfriend years ago.

Agreed 100% ,especially in this modern era,they're all usually giga generic and poorly written,most likely
because they're meant to appeal to liberal/feminist culture.

Mila Jovavich is probably one of the only few actresses who I can name off the top of my head that puts
effort and flare into her work.Olivia Benson from Law&Order SVU is also good.There's a few others who
I can't remember atm

In all fairness she is meant to play a (supporting role) so it would make sense for her character to be
generic.
