I never studied in any American school or college. I always wondered what they be like

colorful? That's hella gay
I have burned teenage years whose scars still remain. I'm 22 but still remember when life used to be hell, nothing but doom and despair at sight and hopelessness used to feel permanent

i was just texting a girl. i told her i went to three big parties in all of sixth form (16-18). that was a lie, because i've only ever been to 2.

she told me she had three lined up next month alone.

I wouldn't want to experience high school in UK ngl. Seems like hell. I had a cousin who went to a grammar school. Turned into a drug dealer and ruined his life

People definitely overexaggerate the whole "American school" thing

Really is just one popularity contest

But I do want to make the most out what I have left of high school

It does suck seeing everyone going out

All i feel is envy:feelsbadman:

America isn't all that it's made out to be. It has its problems too but they are all more or less trivial. It's a land of opportunities. The best place to moneymaxxing and socialcirclemaxxing

Likewise but I assumed it wasn't like the movies made it out. Im thankful, for example there wasnt school shootings in my old school.

You are lucky to have experienced this ngl. Youth lost is lost forever
I kinda just went through the motions socially. Went to one dancing event throughout 4 years. You really need a friend group to enjoy it I guess. I was kind of lonely and only really went to school with the intention of going to a good university, not worried about anything else

i went to a top private school in london where everyone has at least somewhat well off parents. it was sad seeing the popular people going to all of these events at each others houses while my friend group and i were spurned.

when i switched to that school at 16, i promised myself i would find a way into that group. i failed. now i'm working full time and those days are forever lost.

Mom is Korean, dad is American. Mom made me study a lot in highschool, dad pushed me in sports. All worked out, Iโ€™m gonna be a student athlete at a t10

Damn mirin brah. I've attended a few lectures at American unis and seen a few of them. They all look so awesome to me. I never experienced a fraction of that but I guess the silver lining is that I also paid a fraction of the cost.

Yeah the cost is no joke. Itโ€™s like 100k without any financial aid, but thankfully, weโ€™re paying only around 44 yearly. I once read that 60% of the undergraduates come from the top 15% of the US income scale. Mostly rich kids from the Bay and East Coat suburbs

Which sport?

Donโ€™t listen to anyone that says itโ€™s overrated. Shit was so much fun looking back on it and I took it for granted. Tbf tho I grew up in an upper class area like the video above and not everyone has the same experience.
