Because I am still making £23 an hour to do a comfy office job.
Because I can do 90% side hustle stuff on my WFH days as long as I’m still at my desk.

My job is pretty cushy and the pay is OK by UK standards for the effort I actually give. If I worked harder and longer at a higher paid job the government would just take 60% of the extra pay anyway so why bother.
